When boating can't come quick enough

For the first few weeks of May I like to spend some time painting the underside of the boat with Seajet Antifoul and topsides with International Topcoat. Layering up two or three layers over those weeks and making sure it is perfectly done; the weekend goes nice and slow while painting in the sun, only stopping to appreciate the sea air coming off the Atlantic.
After checking the motor, electrical parts and steering for corrosion and functionality, I hook the trailer to the jeep and slowly move towards the slipway. After realising that the boat wasn’t strapped down and that it was floating around carelessly in the water I decide that the day is getting late. I do a quick start-up give it the once around the harbour and slowly drop it back on the trailer.
Quickly wrapping the straps through the clips I make some last checks, bring up the motor and slowly ease away from the water yearning for the holiday to come.
