The old time classic of cutting some flowers and giving them in a bunch to a loved one seems like it will never die. We might not be growing the flowers ourselves or even cutting or arranging the flowers ourselves but the same thought, care and loving gesture is still attached, when those flowers are delivered and once they see that bunch of flowers that thankful smile will still follow. Many people find it hard to organise time to go shopping to find their loved one a present. Work commitments and overtime are ever increasing, taking the kids to all their sporting and school activities is without a doubt a full time job in itself. Then there is the constant renovations and home improvement that society has become so accustomed to now days as well. How is someone expected to find the time to go out and shop for the perfect piece of clothing, or that jewellery that your partner wants or anything else for that matter. Then there is the question of money, somehow people have begun to think that present giving has become a competition. Jane spent this much on me last birthday so i definitely have to send more for her on her birthday or she won't think i care and so forth and so forth. Before long the price needed for a simple birthday pesent has totally skyrocketed. This brings me back to flower delivery, it need not be a birthday, valentines day, an anniversary or even to apolagize for a wrong doing. A gift of flowers on a a random day, for no inparticular reason will quite often give the reciever the most wonderfull feeling of being thought of and loved. Which brings us back to the whole reason of gift giving really, to give a loved one something to say you are thinking of them, or that you love them, to put that smile on their face and to make then feel good about themselves. That is the beauty of flower delivery, you can see that there is no strings attached, No alteria motive. You give a present of two movie tickets to a movie that you have always wanted to see, a new iron that will press your works shirts brilliantly, some golf clubs made from your favorite brand or a new plasma because the old telly is broken. It doesnt take a genius to realize that any of these gifts are from the heart, I know, the suggestions I have made are extremly obvious but with the varity of gifts to give to someone and with everyones personal tastes, quite often people will seem to second guess why they have recieved a present. A present of soap and bath crystals...Do they think i smell bad and so forth. That is why i suggest to you what people have been doing for so long, give your loved one some flowers. Nothing else attached, no extra meaning, just some flowers to say you love then and are thinking of them right now!
