The dealer takes two cards as well but places one face up and the other face down. At the end of the game the dealer will reveal his face down card, but for now he needs to keep you guessing. Based on your cards and the dealer’s exposed card you must decide to hit, asking the dealer for additional cards, or stand, remaining with your present hand. Once you are finished the dealer reveals his hand and if you beat him you get paid 1:1 or 3:2 if you have a 2-card 21 blackjack hand. If the dealer wins your bet goes to the house.
