Beautify is infact skin deep unless you take into consideration the beauty of our mothers. Our mothers beauty never fades because it is her love that we see, an inner glow that shines to us our entire lives. The inner glow of our mothers in passed on to us to experience with our own children, it is with this metaphoric glow that we can both understand and appreciate the undying love of our mothers. To you Mom I say "I love you!" So here a few weeks before Mother Day I find my self wondering. Wondering how this year I will show my love and gratitude to my Mother. After pondering it for several months I came up with a good idea. I would send my Mom a spa gift bag. Not just a gift bag of shampoo and stuff but a good sampling of great skin, hair, nail and other gift ideas, "like at www. bbeautifulsf.com you can order your Mom the entire collection of Youngblood lipsticks. it is one of each shade they carry, what Mom wouldn't love that." Most spas not only have great gift items but they also have gift certificates so what I did was to get a good verity of products together, "in my case I went with the Youngblood lipstick," a candle and a really cool Pevonia body exfoliating brush. I also had the spa give my Mom a gift certificate for a hundred dollars in services or more products. Last year I did the cake in a hat box thing and it was cool but expensive and lonely. I figure this way my Mom can get out and meet some new people as well as visit a new place. Make sure when looking for the spa closest to your Mom you really check it out. Look for something privately owned that is not in a strip mall or to hard to find. Most salons will tell you when you make your reservations or purchase gift certificates over the phone or online where they are located. Whatever you do make sure you do not send your Mom to the local shopping mall for her special day. It should be a classy place that captors to a return local clientele. This way you n=know your Mom will leave the Spa looking and feeling great. If you choose to send your Mom to a Spa that is in a hotel/resort you stand the chance of paying to much for to little and having your Mom not like her services due to the fact that hotel spas are known for working on the one time client so what do they care for they know they will most likely never see you again. Choose wisely. Use city search and actually call the spa and ask some questions like "are you in a mall or strip mall?" "Will you put together a package for me?" and so on. When it comes to your Mom don't skimp this year make something she will remember. And put some effort in researching the right place to send your Mom. Chain Spas are out.
