Do Men Express More Aanger Than Women? There is no proof that men are more prone to anger than women are. They just express their anger in different ways. Many men think that by displaying anger they are showing their tough side to the world. The angrier they can get the more in control they feel. When this anger becomes violence they feel they are totally in control and everyone will be too scared to confront them and this makes them feel good about them selves. Women on the other hand can also become very angry and display a very ugly side of their characters. Many will become violent but some women will let their anger turn into tears. This usually diffuses the anger to a certain extent. CAN DIET AFFECT YOUR BEHAVIOUR? Eating a healthy diet is obviously what we all should be doing every day. This will ensure that we can enjoy good health at all times. Research has shown, however, that certain types of food do affect the way we behave and of course the lack of them would make us behave adversely. It would be a good idea to consult a dietician if you think that your diet is insufficient. It is a good thing to have children's diets checked as well. Your general health can only benefit by watching your diet. Omega 3 which is an essential fatty acid and found in oily fish such as tuna, salmon, mackerel and sardines is essential for the healthy functioning of the brain. This tells us that it is important that we should make sure that we take a daily portion of omega 3 to maintain healthy functioning of the brain. In our modern society many families do not eat oily fish regularly. Many families live off fast foods which do not always include the essential substances that our bodies require. Omega 3 can be taken in as a supplement and is very advantageous for all ages. It is often recommended for people suffering from depression. It also helps in the control of alcoholism and extreme behavioural conditions. Try taking these supplements if you are not getting your daily requirement of omega 3 in your diet. You will probably find that they will be beneficial to you. You will begin to feel a difference in your general well being. These supplements can be purchased from all health stores. You can talk to yourself when you feel the symptoms of anger starting. By telling yourself that it is not worth it to get cross about this situation or telling yourself to calm down you can help yourself defuse the situation. Count to ten or one hundred and if you see things are not getting better rather just walk away from the situation. It is so much better than getting into a confrontation that will only make you feel remorseful afterwards. Talk to a friend about your problem and let them advise you and help you to form a strategy to avoid situations where you know that your anger will be aroused. Try analysing your feelings just before the anger outburst and just after it has occurred. Ask yourself why you allowed yourself to become violently angry about something that was probably not even important. Compare how you felt before the anger attack and how you felt after the anger bout and you will probably realise that the remorse you feel after the outburst is not worth the anger and the feeling of control you got while you were angry. http://www.cureangermanagement.com
