However, for the TV programs without copyright protection, it should be a simply matter of copying the file straight to a DVD. Unfortunately, you may still have a problem because one half hour of television programming takes up approximately 1 GB of disk space. Since many DVD's are only have approximately 700 MB of disc space, you are going to have to compress or shrink the file to fit on the portable media.

With the free-to-copy programs you can put recorded shows into any media device and then onwards no looking back and forth for a mobile entertainment facility. You will have the privilege of copying shows to discs that you can enjoy at home alone or entertain your guests and even watch it outdoors.

DVDs are also easy to store and maintain. They take up very little space, and require hardly any special arrangement. The DVD format is also not in danger of becoming obsolete soon. So, you can store all your favorite shows � complete seasons, even � so long as you ensure that you do not violate any copyrights. Happy viewing!
