Nielsen also found that users connect better with images of attractive people looking directly at them, as long as these people are neither gorgeous or suggestive of professional models since they have the image of unapproachable. ComScore Networks found that men prefer sites brimming with product pictures, details and specifications, while women want to see the products in a lifestyle context. Women are far more likely than men to enlarge a color swatch or rotate an item to view it from different angles.
