Every restaurant owner wants his menu card to be the best in all aspects. For the content to be the best he is responsible. To make the best of the designs he can use a well known designer’s service. The first and the foremost thing offered by a digital print is the quality. This quality arises by a new practise of mixing four colours rather than the three basic primary colours Red, Green and Blue (RGB). Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black are the four basic colours used in digital printing. These four colours were used because they can reproduce the image with more perfection. All other colours, shades and hues are made from these colours. This is done by varying the concentration of each of these colours. Thus precise and vibrant images are obtained every time.

The price per print is also less even if the number of prints is less in the case of digital printing. But in the case of normal offset printing as the number of copies increase the price reduces. This is because the offset printing involves a basic set up cost. But you have to order large number of prints to get reduction. So for restaurant menu printing which are not required in huge numbers digital printing is a good and appropriate choice. User can have wide options available in choosing the materials for printing in the case of digital printing ranging from normal leaflets to 6 x 11 blown up post cards.

In case of digital printing if the layout and design works are completed then the only requirement is to supply appropriate material to the printing machine to get the prints. So it is much faster when compared to offset type. Offset printing will take some time to complete as it involves some step by step procedures. Digital printing process is simple and fast. So, one does not have to spend his valuable time in offset press for printing restaurant menus. The short turnaround time is also a good feature of digital printing.


There is one and only one disadvantage of digital printing related to restaurant menu. By frequent use of the digital print the print in it will deteriorate unless it is protected by using lamination method or by providing a protective cover to the print.
A good digital print will contain the exact reproduction of the image and text. For a restaurant menu to look good quality print is essential which can be provided by digital printing.
